Ananta in Sanskrit means infinite, eternal, without limits.
Hanuman’s strength wasn’t just physical—it was limitless because it came from unwavering devotion and selflessness to Lord Ram. The painting depicts the story of Hanuman bringing the entire Mountain Dronagiri (as it looks today) from the Himalayas to Sri Lanka, in order to save Laxman’s life (Ram’s brother). Hanuman would never let his Lord suffer the loss of His brother.

Ananta evokes the idea that Hanuman’s devotion has no boundaries.
