Parvati completes Shiv. Without Her, He is incomplete. Many know of the devotion Parvati Mata has towards Lord Shiva over many of Her lifetimes, but few know how much of that devotion is a protection shield for Her Lord. In this painting that protection is depicted with her pallu (sari trail) over the Shivling she is worshipping.
